The Injured List is a pretty solid rock/emo band that I stumbled across via the cult site Absolutepunk.net the other day while scouring the web for new music. The thing that struck me most about the group though: they were giving away their entire LP for FREE! It's a surefire way to get most people to at least listen to your music, in my humble opinion, and it worked on me this time.
The sound is a little rough, but it's part of that great feeling of potential that makes me want to keep listening as they continue to grow as a band. It's not the best record I've ever heard, but it's got something that, if they continue to evolve, will really knock us on all our collective behinds.
