Again just to mix things up Fridays are a free for all. This week besides music a lot has been going on in the sports world, especially basketball. Now many musicians may think that there is no room for sports and music in your life, that if you watch the NBA playoffs then you are not inclined to go to a bar and listen to a band. However, there are many artists who are very into sports and sports can be a great release if your career is entertainment. Look at the NBA playoffs as entertainment for entertainers.
Even if your city does not have a professional basketball team, and especially if you have never watched an entire NBA game, you should watch one this year. There are some great teams and some great athletes, check out Boston vs. Orlando or the Finals if you can only watch one game.
In closing, this post is mostly about broadening your horizons and being open to new experiences. While you may not write your next top 40 hit while watching the NBA playoffs you may enjoy yourself.
